Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of checkifemailisvalid.com and the email verification service it provides (the "Service"). Using the Service means you accept these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service tests whether an email address you submit is likely to accept mail, using syntax validation, DNS lookups, live SMTP handshakes and provider-level identity checks. Results describe the state of a mailbox at the moment of the check. Mail servers are third-party systems outside our control, so results are informed assessments, not guarantees of delivery.

2. Accounts

Bulk checking and the API require a free account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials and API keys confidential. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

3. Free checks and credits

The website offers a limited number of free checks per day, enforced per IP address. New accounts receive 100 free credits with no card required; one credit equals one verification. Unknown results are never charged on single checks and are refunded automatically on bulk jobs. We may change free limits at any time to prevent abuse.

4. Payments

Credit packs are purchased through Stripe. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Used credits are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to verify addresses obtained unlawfully, to facilitate unsolicited bulk email, to probe or overload our systems, to bypass quotas or the anti-abuse challenge, or to resell verification without our written consent. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Data you submit

You retain all rights in the addresses you check. We process them only to return a verification result, as set out in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to check any address you submit.

7. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. Sections 6 and 7 survive termination.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Contact: support@checkifemailisvalid.com.
